Privacy Policy
This explains what personal information Roshan Gupta, operating as Coach Roshan collects when you use coachroshan.com, why it is collected, and what you can ask me to do with it. It is written to be read, not to be skipped.

Who is responsible
Roshan Gupta, operating as Coach Roshan, based in Cuttack, Odisha, India. I am the data fiduciary for the information described here. You can reach me at roshan@coachroshan.com.
What I collect
Only what is needed to coach you properly:
- Contact details — name, email address, WhatsApp number
- Health and body information — age, sex, height, weight, measurements, activity levels, medical history, medications you take, and any blood reports you choose to share
- Food and progress records — what you log during coaching, photos you send, weekly check-in notes
- Payment records — that a payment was made and for what. Card and UPI details are handled by the payment provider and never reach me
- Website data — standard analytics, and information from the Meta Pixel if you arrive from Facebook or Instagram
Health information is treated as sensitive
Your medical history, medications and blood reports are sensitive personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. I treat them accordingly: they are used only to build and adjust your programme, they are never shared with advertisers or data brokers, and they are never sold. Ever.
If I ever needed to discuss your case with another professional, I would ask your permission first.
Why I collect it
- To build and adjust your nutrition and training plan
- To check supplements and foods against the medicines you take
- To communicate with you about your programme
- To process payments and keep basic business records
- To send occasional emails about coaching — only if you asked for them, and with an unsubscribe link in every one
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers process data on my behalf, purely so the business can function:
- The website host and email provider that run this site and my inbox
- The payment gateway that processes payments
- WhatsApp, if that is how we communicate
I do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or trade it with anyone. The only other circumstance in which I would disclose anything is if I were legally required to by an Indian court or authority.
How long I keep it
Coaching records are kept for as long as you are a client and for three years afterwards, so I can answer questions about a past programme and meet record-keeping obligations. After that they are deleted. You can ask me to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask me to:
- Tell you what information I hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete your information
- Withdraw consent for anything you previously agreed to
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights if you are unable to

Children
This service is for adults only. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and I do not coach minors. If you believe a child has provided me with personal information, contact me and I will delete it.
If you are outside India
Coaching is delivered online and clients write in from many countries. I am based in India, so anything you send me — including the health information above — is stored and processed in India, and by some of the services listed earlier which may hold data elsewhere. India’s data protection law applies to how I handle it.
If you live in the UK, the European Economic Area, or another place with its own data protection law, that law may give you additional rights — to see what I hold, to correct it, to have it deleted, to object to how it is used, or to complain to your national regulator. I will honour those requests regardless of where you live. Email roshan@coachroshan.com and I will respond within 30 days.
You are never required to send me health information. If you would rather not, say so and we will work with less — it only means the plan is less tailored.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, access to your records is limited to me, and payment details never touch my systems. No system is perfectly secure, and I will not pretend otherwise — but if a breach ever affected your data I would tell you and the Data Protection Board promptly rather than quietly.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics, and the Meta Pixel to measure advertising. You can block cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may then work less well.
Changes
If this policy changes materially I will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell existing clients directly.
